As we waited for the drywall to arrive, the wife and I finished up a few odd and ends to prepare. First she did a terrific job securing all the faced insulation and then while the kids were at their Grammies, we tied all the electric circuits together. I wanted to do this to test for arcs or shorts prior to throwing the drywall up. It turns out the electric is all working and now we even have light in the back utility room. Finally, our monoprice package arrived on Saturday with the HDMI cables and a ton of odds and ends for wire finishing. Since the projector has been sitting in a box for a few weeks I was stoked to bust it out to test that the 25’ and 20’ HDMI cables would work…and they did. After testing I ran the cables to their destination and boom…all rough wiring is complete!
Drywall will be here between 10am-1pm today (gotta love the 3 hour windows lol).

Looks good. Guess we’ll be carrying and hanging drywall tonight!
