While I was at work today, the wife went to the store and while she was there she picked up some much needed essentials to wire up the new circuits…a head lamp and a portable lantern. Before soliciting any assistance, I wired up the switches for the four main lighting areas: stairwell, theater area, back area and one of the utility rooms. After the switches were installed, I killed the solar panels, flipped the breaker and got to work. a couple hours later with some assistance from the wife, all 9 new circuits are wired. I used combo AFCI/GFCI for all of them (holy expensive) so I was able to quickly test the circuit and everything worked. (In my caveman voice) “I make powea!!”
After that I cleaned up the basement a bit with some help from my son. He did a great job cleaning up a bunch of the insulation (with his gloves, goggles and mask on of course) and taking the bags up to the garage.
Next up, drywall….I’ll probably staple the faced insulation at some point but the next major project is getting the drywall to the basement and hanging it. Actually, who am I kidding, the PS5 comes in tomorrow so the next major “project” is hooking that bad boy up and checking it out.
Oh and yes, I know the bulbs are all different colors. We’re testing out the different “shades” to determine what we want/need.

You’re doing a great job!
arrggh arrggh arrggh!
