While I didn’t get a ton finished today, I did put the last few pieces of insulation up. I toyed with using some scrap insulation to assist with sound transmission from the ceiling speakers to the first floor. I’ll probably leave it there but I’m not expecting much because, well there’s speakers between the floor joists, no matter what I do, you’ll hear it upstairs. All I need to do now is clean up all the insulation edges and start my walk arounds to prep for the drywall.

Up next, I’m hoping to get the circuit breakers wired up tomorrow so we can get the lights turned on. It’s getting a bit dark down there now that the walls are all closed up. I’ll leave all the breakers in the off position and only turn on the circuits with lights ONLY attached. I do have two circuits with lights and outlets, so they’ll stay off and I’ll continue to use the temporary lighting in those areas.

I’m hoping to finish that up and be ready for drywall tomorrow because I have some challenging homework to finish for the week (lots of SQL in my future) and of course I pick up my new PS5 on Thursday…so there’s that. Drywall will arrive on Monday and then the fun begins.

C’mon Thursday…I mean Monday…lol!
