Thanks to an early trip to “The Man Store” (as my son calls it), a TON of help from my wife, and some last minute help from my Mother-In-Law, we had a fairly productive day. We were able to finish all the sanding, some last minute touch ups, and get to priming. We were able to finish the first coat on the ceiling, two coats in the AV closet, and cut-ins for all of the wall components. While we waited for the rest of the dust to settle, we took the opportunity to hang some peg board in one of the utility rooms. I figure I’ll move the majority of my small tools into that room from the garage to free up some space in the garage. The pegboard also servers the nice dual purpose of a wall covering that allows the wall to air itself out reducing any moisture issues, should we have any. While we were at the store we also picked up the wood for the banister platform and the window sills.
Still plenty left to do but it sure was a productive day.

Everything really looks great. It’s amazing how you’ve gotten so far, so fast. Nice work.
