It was a productive evening as I was able to finish covering all the main walls. Just have the closet, pillar, soffit sides and the other side of the stairs left. I should be able to get all that finished tomorrow, except for the stairs. I really need a plan for the stairs. I have about 1/4” from the studs to the surface of the already finished drywall. I’m thinking I can either go with what I’ve got and have a small ledge or go with a 1/4” sheet and try to make it transition well. Something to ponder but I’m leaning towards the ledge, I really don’t need someone going through the wall on the stairwell because it’s only 1/4”. I guess the other option is to throw the 1/2” up there and then laminate a 1/4” sheet over the already finished wall….hmmmm….
