Well, it’s a miracle I lasted this long with that old drill battery. I came into this project knowing one of my two drill batteries was shot and cost a fortune to replace. I may have even said something to the extent of “I really don’t want to be buying a new drill, so let’s hope ‘ole reliable’ makes it the distance.” I guess I shouldn’t have opened my mouth. After charging all night and only getting me through an hour or two of drilling, she died.
A trip to Lowe’s and one new drill later…we have covered walls…
While I was at Lowe’s I picked up some drywall corners, 45 minute mud and some finishing mud.
A fun side note from this evening was my sons “help.” This is what I turned around to 15 minutes after he came down…
Believe it or not, that was actually sort of helpful and he enjoyed himself, so I can’t complain.
Hopefully I can finish that back wall tomorrow…
