Though it doesn’t feel like I did a lot today, it certainly feels like we turned some sort of page. I was able to finish up the electrical rough in and with some help from the wife, clean up some unnecessary items from the area. Also, since I know you’ve been anticipating an update on the dryer situation, the parts came in and we have a working dryer again. Let’s hope nothing else digs into the basement project budget.
Up next, HVAC. The installer will be here tomorrow morning and by the afternoon, we should have 2 new supply’s and an additional return. After that, I’ll do one (probably 10) more laps around the basement to check for anything I missed and get some blocking installed for the drywall. Once I’m satisfied, I’ll schedule the inspection. I’m thinking I’ll fail at least one time, so I should just schedule it now and take it on the chin….maybe I’ll just do that….yup I’ll call them in the morning and schedule it. Probably should work on my updated plans so they’re ready when the inspector gets here.
