Spent my evening securing and labeling wires. I also moved the sub supports up a bit so they would be behind the screen. I made some decent progress but again, hard to tell in pics.
Waiting on some stuff from Amazon and monoprice to finish up the wiring in prep for the HVAC guy and the rough in inspection.
Oh and let’s not forget about the train wreck I ran into. So, there’s a CAT5E cable running from the living room wall plate to the basement from the previous owners. I have been expecting to replace that by fishing a CAT6 wore back through the same hole. Well I found out today that way installed it in a new work box and stapled the wire behind the drywall. Needless to say, I’ll likely be abandoning that wore in place and routing a CAT6 wore to a plate beside the rest of the homes network jacks. not ideal or what I was expecting but it does force me to purchase a tool I never even knew I needed, a right angle drill driver. Let’s hope it does the trick. More progress on that this weekend (hopefully).
