Low voltage

Today was full of wire pulls. After I finished up the last two speaker supports (the subs), I ran all of the speaker wire, the RG6 and the majority of the CAT6. I haven’t secured the wiring yet as I want to be 100% sure everything is where I want/need it before I go crazy with screws and nails.

The one thing that got me today was the AV room. I knew the wires coming into the AV room would be a challenge, but I’m stumped…still. I can’t decide on how to go about breaking the plane from the bulkhead to the closet. Do I go with on wall conduit? Do I try to build some type of wire raceway? Who knows? What I do know is that there are too many wires to be drilling a hundred holes into the studs. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe that’s the way to go? Either way, that’s a predicament for another day.

I also removed the conduit from the AV room to the projector to make the speaker and CAT6 runs easier to make. I’ll likely go back with come 2” schedule 80 PVC instead because I can manipulate that to just the right location versus the flexible stuff I had in there.

Alright, time to rest the brain…until tomorrow….
