After taking yesterday off for some family events, my Dad came over to assist today. Though we got a LOT accomplished, it feels odd leaving the basement in such disarray. Actually, it’s not really in disarray, just looks like it.

I hung the outlet and switch boxes while I waited for Dad to arrive. Once he arrived, we hung the recessed lights and ran the wire for the entire back wall plus all but two of the recessed lights. After that, we had some pasta for dinner (yes, I’m Italian…get over it) and then Dad left. Once he left, I cleaned up the basement a bit and terminated all of the recessed lights on the back side.

I’d classify today as a successful one…even though it looks like a mess.
